Role & responsibilities

• Transferring batch process to continuous process of intermediates by planning experiments in flow reactors.
• Exposure to different flow reactors like Amar-1, Amar-2, Amar-3,Tubular coils, Plantrix flow reactor and to study yield, quality improvement studies by performing batches in continuous flow reactor.
• To carry out lab trials to understand the reaction kinetics.
• Piloting flow reaction and batch reaction.
• Handling pressurized reactions in Autoclave.
• Monitoring scale up activities in lab scale and planning pilot trials based on rate of heating, addition rate, runaway reactions.
• Coordinate with the analytical department and process safety department during verification batches.
• In hand experience on nitration, sulfonating reactions in flow reactors.
• Conducting HAZOP study for plant batches
• Performing lab trails of high boiling or temperature sensitive materials in ATFE and SPDU for impurity reduction and enhanced purity, followed by scaling up to plant level.
• Data generation for mass balance, energy balance
