Key Responsibilities:

1. Cybersecurity Strategy Development:
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the cybersecurity strategy, aligning it with business goals and industry best practices to ensure the protection of company assets, intellectual property, and sensitive information.
2. Cybersecurity Analyst Support:
• Provide expertise in cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices, drawing on experience as a cybersecurity analyst.
• Assist in identifying vulnerabilities and threats, offering solutions to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
3. Security Appliance Management:
• Configure, manage, and monitor security appliances such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, firewalls, and other security tools.
• Implement and manage endpoint security solutions (e.g., antivirus, EDR, MDM) to prevent malware attacks and unauthorized access.
4. Monitoring & Incident Detection:
• Monitor network traffic, system logs, and user activity to identify anomalies, suspicious behavior, and potential security incidents.
• Provide timely alerts and perform detailed analysis on security incidents, collaborating with relevant teams to respond effectively.
5. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring the company can quickly recover in the event of a security breach or disaster.
• Conduct regular drills, tests, and simulations to ensure readiness.
6. Network Configuration and Segmentation:
• Configure and manage network segmentation to enhance security controls and minimize attack surfaces.
• Set up and manage VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and domain policies to ensure secure access to internal systems.
7. Collaboration with IT Teams:
• Coordinate with system administrators, developers, and other internal teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities, ensuring security patches and updates are promptly applied.
• Provide support and guidance on secure development practices and IT infrastructure hardening.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, MCA, BE CS or related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis, including working knowledge of security tools, threat detection, and incident management.
• In-depth understanding of security protocols, firewall configuration, SIEM systems, and endpoint protection.
• Hands-on experience with network traffic analysis, log monitoring, and system activity monitoring to detect anomalies.
• Experience in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans and conducting business continuity tests.
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation, VPN configurations, domain policies, and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.) preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA guidelines.
