Assistant Manager- Network planning & Scheduling

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor/ master s in aviation
Preferred Experience
03-06 years experience in airline Network Planning scheduling/Revenue Management or any airline analytical field.

Schedule Management Optimization
o Use Sabre s Air Vision planning and scheduling software to ensure that the planned network does not exceed the total available aircraft. Regularly adjust the network schedules, equipment, aircraft flying patterns etc., to meet commercial and operational requirements such as, slot adherence, aircraft parking bay compliance, local airport manpower and optimal sub fleet utilization, accommodation of airport closures, maximizing crew efficiency aircraft utilization, pattern of service, profitability, and strategic considerations.
o Monitor schedule performance and industry trends in conjunction with strategic groups and find solutions for market adjustments/additions or schedule changes to improve the existing network. In parallel, analyze and implement continuous improvement to achieve incremental crew productivity, improve maintenance feasibility and network connectivity.

Schedule planning design:
o Monitor industry trends and leverage internal and external traffic, profitability, demand data and come up with plans to improve optimize the existing network.
o Participate in seasonal schedule design process to develop an operationally optimized, optimally utilized network that maximizes commercial feasibility.
Execution: Collaborate with several internal teams such as crew planning, engineering, revenue management, Airport operations, marketing etc., to operationalize schedules/new routes/changes/cancellations etc.

Publication Distribution:
o Publish distribute the planned schedule with RMS (revenue management system), and key stake holders within agreed timelines.
o Make sure the set schedule publishing guidelines are adhered to.
o Disseminate the plan to all down-line departments.
Work on ad-hoc projects as per requirement.

Preferred Skills
Eager to solve complex problems, creative thinking and continuous improvement.
Advanced digital literacy: Experience in using Sabre Air Vision Planning and scheduling tool or an equivalent planning/scheduling software.
In-depth understanding of airline scheduling, crew planning requirements, maintenance, and airport operations constraints.
Intermediate to advanced user of MS Excel.
