We re looking for a Mechanical Technician for our location in Pune to focus on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

What you ll do:
- Perform mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including A B service, green carding / post contract assessment pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding / repair and preventative maintenance.
- Carry out mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics as required.
- Assist with site installation (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.
- Respond effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.
- Ensure the completion of equipment repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
- Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.
- Aggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety Environmental policies, procedures, and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company.
- Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.
You ll have the following skills and experience:
- Mechanical Diploma/BE Mechanical or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
- At least 1-5 years of experience in the Mechanical field. Experience in the Mechanical field a plus.
- Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel / gas generators and their axillaries.
- Minimum 1 to 5 Years of Experience in Diesel Engine OEM, Rental power company or Utility maintenance comprising DG set, chillers etc.
- Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.
- Availability to travel as and when required.
- Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
- Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain
