Senior Officer - Accounts (Indirect taxation)

Work Location: Baner, Pune (Corporate Office)

Role & responsibilities

1. Indirect tax Compliance: Preparation and Reporting

• Extract of Sale & purchase data from SAP for filing the monthly GST return.
• Prepare data for filing the monthly GST returns in accurate and timely manner.
• Timely & accurate data preparation for annual GST audit.
• Prepare yearly data for ITC receivable Vs utilize balance for further GST audit.
• Assist to team leader on various process automation and improvement project as and when required.
• Assist to team leader for execution of state level incentives scheme documentation as and when required

2. Compliance

• Ensuring GST Input Tax Credit Reconciliation (2A and 3B recons).
• To prepare the monthly GST utilization and clearing in SAP.
• To prepare the ITC-04 and ISD return independently & get validate for team manager.
• To prepare the working for reversal of 180 days Credit its posting in SAP.
• GSTR2A/2B Reconciliation as per ITC Register

3. Team & Vendor management

• Work closely with other teams
• Assist to resolve the supplier and customer queries on routine GST issues.
• Assist to provide the details for regular health checkup project as & when required.

Preferred candidate profile

4+ years of experience in GST (returns & compliances) in manufacturing industry
