Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for an Oracle Xstore POS Developer located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to data modeling, databases, Oracle Reports, Extract Transform Load (ETL), and software development.

Qualifications :

- Oracle POS (Micros POS)

- Secondary Skill : Communication,

- Preferrable : Retail , sales , trade, POSM, POS networks

- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues and lead the team.

- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Oracle Xstore solutions.

- Guide the development of customizations, extensions, and integrations for Oracle Xstore.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

- Provide technical mentorship and support to junior developers.

- Manage a team of Oracle Xstore developers and assign tasks effectively.

- Ensure the timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.

- Offer training and development opportunities to junior developers.

- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

- Identify potential risks and proactively address them.

- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.

- Work with business analysts and clients to gather and refine requirements.

- Ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

- Integrate Oracle Xstore with other retail systems (POS, ERP, etc.).

- Implement custom features and extensions to meet specific business needs.

- Monitor and optimize Oracle Xstore system performance for efficiency and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

- Create and maintain clear, detailed technical documentation for solutions.

- Ensure compliance with security and company standards in development.

- Plan and execute Oracle Xstore upgrades and patches with minimal disruption.

- Manage ongoing maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and uptime.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration.

- Gather and incorporate user feedback for continuous improvement of Oracle Xstore.

- Stay updated on trends and technologies in retail and Oracle solutions.

- Promote and implement best practices in software development within the team.
