Deputy - RCM Patient Helpdesk

• Management of the Talk Desk Call Center Technology
• Active monitoring of the incoming calls
• Reviewing Reports, providing feedback to team
• Sharing detailed reports from the system with leadership and the team
• Answer incoming phone calls from patients/escalated phone calls from team members
• Accept escalated calls from team members
• Answer billing questions
• Process payments
• Track encounters and actions in applicable software
• Serve as a liaison between the patient and the billing team, resolving concerns proactively
• Manage team schedules, to ensure maximum call coverage
• Ensure appropriate deadlines and completion dates are met
• Manage special projects as needed
• Train and develop members of the Customer Care team
• Develop proficiency in multiple practice management systems
• Account for internal control responsibilities in line with the organizations objectives
• Ability to handle Protected Health Information in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
• Maintain PCI standards, credit card compliance across customer care department
• Other duties as assigned

The Patient Helpdesk Manager typically works in an office setting during regular business hours. The role may involve working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, managing conflicting priorities, and adapting to changes in patient/client requirements.
