We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trainer in Learning and Development to join our team in Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training delivery and facilitation, with a focus on developing and implementing effective learning programs. This role requires a professional who can engage and inspire learners, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, and Deliver talent development courses.
On most occasions, the incumbent is found with the learners at Advantmed - inside or outside the competency development sessions that are designed and developed by the incumbent. Dont worry there are a wide array of courses that pre-exist in the current talent development catalog and incumbent is expected to read through the course design documents so consistency in delivery can be maintained. Its expected that the incumbent is fond of reading, as there’s ample literature to review.
About the training design and development part – the incumbent works closely with the Learning and Development Manager, the department SPOCs and HR team members to identify training needs, design and develop customized learning solutions. The incumbent maintains exhaustive design documents aimed at tracking all the changes in the knowledge repository while continually improving the content quality.
Rest assured, there is ample assistance provided by the OD and the ID team members in terms of fetching detailed training needs analysis that provides a solid foundation to every course that the incumbent designs and develops.
About the training delivery part – the incumbent is expected to facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional methodologies and formats as mentioned in the course design document.
Evaluate Training Effectiveness of talent development initiatives and interventions.
The incumbent also assesses the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments while incorporating the feedback.

The incumbent stays updated and keeps abreast of the latest trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure the training programs are current and effective.

Instructional Design: Ability to design and develop effective training materials and programs.
Training Delivery: Proficient in delivering training sessions that are engaging, interactive, and impactful.
Assessment and Evaluation: Skilled in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making data-driven improvements.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Knowledge and Skills (from Training Delivery and Facilitation Competency):
Adult Learning Principles: Understanding of adult learning theories and principles, and the ability to apply them in training design and delivery.
Facilitation Techniques: Expertise in various facilitation techniques to ensure active participation and engagement during training sessions.
Technology Integration: Ability to integrate technology into training programs to enhance learning experiences.
Feedback Mechanisms: Proficient in using feedback mechanisms to continuously improve training programs.
Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness of cultural differences and the ability to adapt training programs to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in learning and development.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) are highly desirable.
