FP&A (Financial Analyst)

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst with 3 to 12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget preparation, cost control, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Proficiency in SAP is mandatory, and the candidate should be well-versed in responding to queries and preparing data for stakeholders and regulators. This role will require a hands-on approach to scrutinizing expenses and ensuring accurate cost allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Preparation: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

• Budget Transfer & Upload: Manage the transfer and upload of budget data into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Cost Control & Allocation: Implement and monitor cost control measures, ensuring efficient allocation of expenses across GLs and cost centers.

• Budget vs. Actual Comparison: Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations.

• Stakeholder & Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate financial data required by stakeholders, regulators, and other relevant parties.

• Expense Scrutiny: Scrutinize expenses based on general ledger (GL) and cost center allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

• SAP Proficiency: Utilize SAP for financial reporting, budgeting and cost management tasks. Strong knowledge of SAP is essential for this role.

Qualifications:

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CA Inter, CMA, CFA, or MBA with 3 to 12 years of relevant experience.

• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and respond to queries promptly.
• Experience in preparing reports for stakeholders and regulators.
