General Manager - D2C - FMCG (10-15 yrs)

DEPARTMENT : Marketing

LOCATION : Kolkata/Mumbai/Delhi

Job Purpose :

1. Responsible for complete business life cycle for digital first brands.

2. Person will handle full cycle of demand generation to fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create & deliver ambitious growth plans for the brand's D2C platforms and take ownership of D2C business delivery.

2. Own the product innovation and ensure complete product lifecycle management for all the offerings: Rapid launch for low-medium stakes and full risk managed innovation process for high stakes innovation.

3. Driving performance on all performance-marketing channels such as Facebook, Google etc, as well as organic, direct and affiliate sources of revenue and traffic.

4. Work closely with the R&D, Agencies, supply chain teams and other stakeholders in the value chain on all aspects related to growth, sales, content and creatives.

A. Personal Attributes :

- Self-starter who can understand, formulate and execute business plans accurately. He needs to understand market flow, company strategy and how to implement it independently.

- Visionary, he should be able to visualize what he and the company wants for the brand in future. He should be able to communicate the vision to others and also inspire others to share it with him

- Problem Solver, with limited supervision who can take critical decisions

- Build relationships with good networks and contacts to gain support from all levels of company, customers and people

- Focus on identification of needs and delivering results is the base of every function. The person should think and maximize efforts in the requisite direction to deliver the best results.

B. Qualification & Desired Skills :

- Masters degree in Business Administration , good academic background with 10-15 years of business experience. (Product Marketing expert, e commerce experience)
