SAP MDG Technical Consultant/Developer (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled MDG Technical Consultant (Developer) with 3+ years of relevant experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) technical implementation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP MDG technical components, including Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling, and custom ABAP developments.

The role demands a strong understanding of the SAP MDG technical framework and the ability to work closely with functional and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Implementation :

- Perform SAP MDG technical implementations, including Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling, and Business Validation Rules (Derivations and Validations).

- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and workflows specific to SAP MDG.

- Configure and manage Data Replication Framework (DRF), ensuring accurate and efficient data distribution.

Framework and Tools Expertise :

- Work with SAP MDG technical frameworks, including BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Enterprise Services, IDoc, Floorplan Manager (FPM), WebDynPro, and Fiori.

- Utilize SAP MDG API frameworks and perform MDG UI configurations.

- Leverage BRF+ for rules-based workflows and validation processes.

Functional Knowledge :

- Provide technical support for MDG configurations in Customer, Vendor, and Product/Material Master data.

- Implement data harmonization and process modeling, including entity relationships, mass changes, and data replication processes.

- Configure and manage SOA services, ALE connections, key-value mappings, and data transfer frameworks.

Role Requirements and Qualification :

- 3+ years of relevant experience in SAP MDG technical implementation.

- Hands on experience in SAP MDG technical implementation involving Data Modelling, Process Modelling, UI Modelling.

- Experience with Business Validation - Rules Modelling, Derivations, and Data Replication Framework (DRF), ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements related to SAP MDG.

- Must have good understanding of SAP MDG technical framework - BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDoc, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, Fiori, and MDG API framework, MDG UI configuration.

- Good functional understanding of MDG configuration items like customer, vendor, and product/material master data including Data harmonization and Process Modelling- Entity, Business Activity change, Relationship, mass changes, and data replication, SOA service, ALE connection, Key & value mapping, Data transfer
