Vice President - Collections - NBFC (10-15 yrs)

Candidate should have experience of Secured Lap and South Indian states

Role Objective:

- Oversee the entire collections function for the organization, ensuring timely recovery of dues while maintaining customer relationships and reducing delinquency.

- Develop and implement effective collection strategies for secured loan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end collections process across loan portfolios.

- Monitor and control delinquency across early, mid, and late-stage buckets.

- Develop and drive recovery strategies for Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).

- Implement data-driven collection strategies, leveraging technology and analytics.

- Lead and motivate the collections team, ensuring target achievements.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (RBI/NBFC norms) in all collection practices.

- Engage with legal teams for recovery through legal channels (SARFAESI, Arbitration, etc.).

- Manage outsourced collection agencies and vendors.

- Drive customer-centric solutions while balancing risk and recovery.

Key Competencies Required:

- Strong understanding of NBFC regulations and collection practices.

- Expertise in handling secured and unsecured loan collections.

- Excellent team management and leadership abilities.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in MIS and recovery dashboards.

- Sound knowledge of legal recovery processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

- 10-15 years of experience in collections, preferably in an NBFC or Banking sector.

- Proven track record of reducing delinquency and improving collection efficiency.
