Sr. Technical Specialist - Power System Analysis

You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the creation of technical expertise business strategy.The work model for the role is:#LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India.You will be mainly accountable for: Creating and executing power system Analysis/ engineering/ solutions as part of the PI Business line. This includes advanced power system analysis, along with performing Grid Code Compliance studies.

Acting as a role model in applying design thinking/ design for excellence concepts in pro-jects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations. Preparation of technical proposals based on RfQ from the customers considering Grid Codes of the respective country along with effort estimation for the tasks. Support for bid & proposal activities as well as execution of power system analysis during engineering stage.You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

• 16-20 Yrs of experience and in depth Knowledge about power systems, equipment and their recommendations for a technically viable Power system/Grid/Plant distribution and Grid connection/ Transmission requirements.
• Power system Analysis with ETAP software (Short circuit studies, Load Flow Analysis, Motor Starting Analysis, Relay coordination and harmonic analysis). Also arc flash study and transient analysis is to be know and Knowledge of at least one of ETAP(preferably), DIgSILENT Power factory, PSS/E or simi-lar simulation tools
• Knowledge in Electrical Power Distribution System for large process plants (EHV Switchgear, MV and LT Switchgear).
• Protection requirement for the system based on the power system analysis and Power System Protection (Relay Selection, Coordination and relay setting calculation)
• Minimum B.Tech/ B.E from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics engineering OR Masters in Power systems preferred
