Job Purpose:
The position would perform outbound calls to potential and current customers to qualify them as sales leads, and successfully move them through the sales pipeline. The Sales Representative will work closely with, a sales support staff member, the Team Lead in Bangalore and align efforts with the CEO based in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients in the US trucking industry through cold calling and other outreach methods.
- Possess/Build strong knowledge of assigned product/services to identify customer needs.
- Present and promote company services to prospective clients, demonstrating their value in meeting client needs.
- Document each call as per company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Follow up with potential customers in a timely manner if necessary.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies.
- Work closely with the Team Lead to align on goals, strategies, and performance metrics.
- Identify and resolve issues related to documentation and escalate complex problems to the team lead.
Requisites:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales.
- Experience in B2B or the logistics/trucking industry would be preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
- Ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and G Suite would be preferred
- The work will be in US Time Zone, so candidates should be open for night shift.
