Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software applications.
- Utilize logical reasoning to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to convey testing progress, issues, and results.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on completeness and testability.
- Uphold knowledge management practices to facilitate knowledge capture and sharing.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a service-based IT company.
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
