Devops Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on automating pipelines, maintaining infrastructure, and driving sustainable continuous improvement across platforms. You will play a key role in managing and monitoring end-to-end systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI and Rafay CD.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and system reliability.
3. Administer and maintain Linux servers, ensuring uptime and security.
4. Investigate and resolve technical issues across diverse platforms and technologies.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows and processes.
6. Manage and monitor end-to-end infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
7. Create and maintain detailed documentation using tools like Confluence and Lucidchart.

Required Skills:

Must Have:

• Proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, GitOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, Route53, Load Balancers, IAM, CloudWatch, EKS, Greengrass, ECR).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Strong networking skills, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Familiarity with Helm and JSON/YAML/TOML formats.
• Basic understanding of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL, Timeseries).
• Proven experience in DevOps practices and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability with a self-learning attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Helmfile, Rafay, Rancher, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of IoT and LoRaWAN technologies (e.g., ChirpStack).
