Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and checks on packaging machines to prevent operational issues and downtime.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues that affect the performance of packaging machinery.
Repairs and Servicing: Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to restore packaging machines to operational status.
Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate and fine-tune packaging machines to ensure accurate and consistent product packaging.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance over the phone, email, or on-site visits.
Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, work reports, and documentation of repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks.
Spare Parts Management: Coordinate with the procurement team to order and manage spare parts inventory for efficient servicing.
Training: Train customer operators and maintenance staff on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machines.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that repaired or serviced machines meet quality standards and performance expectations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during service visits to ensure the safety of both the service engineer and the customer.
Reporting: Provide regular reports to the service manager on service activities, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
