Role Overview

We are looking for highly motivated, hands-on data professionals who are passionate about data engineering, analytics, and AI. If you love Python, SQL, databases, and dashboarding, and have strong experience in either ETL/ELT pipelines (PySpark, Airflow, etc.) OR Machine Learning model internals (model tuning, optimization, and deployment), we want to hear from you.

This is a high-impact role in a fast-moving startup, requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and communication skills to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders. You will get the opportunity to work across the entire data lifecycle, from data engineering to analytics and AI, solving real-world business challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own & build scalable data solutions: Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, databases, ETL/ELT workflows, and analytical dashboards.
• Work with large-scale data: Handle structured & unstructured data, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance tuning.
• AI/ML Implementation: Design, train, optimize, and deploy machine learning models, working with real-world business datasets.
• Collaborate directly with customers: Gather requirements, translate business problems into data-driven solutions, and communicate insights effectively.
• Develop and deploy analytics & reporting solutions: Build dashboards & visualizations to generate actionable business insights.
• Stay ahead of trends: Continuously explore new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in data engineering, analytics, and AI.
• Operate independently: Manage your own projects and timelines in a flat, meritocratic organization.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Tech Stack We Use:
• Frontend: Full stack on React + Tailwind.
• Backend: Node.js with Supabase + Edge functions.
• Data Visualization: Evidence.dev / Power BI, based on requirements.
• Data Pipelines & AI: ETL/ELT frameworks, PySpark, and AI-driven solutions.
• Must-Have:
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, FastAPI, etc.).
• Strong command of SQL (writing optimized queries, stored procedures, indexing strategies, etc.).
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Metabase or Dash/Streamlit/Evidence.
• Hands-on experience in one of the following:
• Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, PySpark, Airflow, DBT, Apache Kafka, etc.) OR
• Machine Learning (model internals, hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, deployment on cloud/AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Nice-to-Have:
  
  
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Dask, Databricks, Motherduck, Snowflake).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data pipeline & model deployment.
• Experience with MLOps and deploying AI models in production environments.
