I had work in govt. Sector at Nagpur muncipal corporation in PWD department.

The OPC divided into three grades namely 33 grade, 43 grade, and 53 grade depends upon the strength of cement at the 28 days when tested as per Is 1489-1991.

53 grade cement has low chloride content, it is moderately sulphate resisting it's save the shuttering cost due to early removal, due to this cement, construction become speedy . Vicat's apparatus is used for initial and final setting time of the cement.

I had successfully Completed my internship with regards to astik group of company at patna, the site was located at Wagholi . If 53 grade cement is used for concrete then , Heat of hydration of cement is fast as compared to other grade cemant, so that's why the initial setting time is less. These type of cement can be used for early deshuttering and under water Construtions .

If 43 grade cement is used then the characteristics is closely same as 53 grade cemant.

If 33 grade cement is used, then the heat of hydration process is slow as compared to 53 grade.mostly it is used at light structures , such as mass concreting and PCC work.
