To be honest me and my friend attended their interview and I got selected he didn't get it.
He was sad about it.
Later after 5 days of working I called him crying that your lucky actually because God has guided you by not giving a chance of entering into such horrible job and company.
You will have to call the customers who are basically parents sitting in abroad normally NRI'S in USA, CANADA, UK etc.
You will have sell course like coding/ math/ science to the parents for their children it's very difficult to convience them saying you'll get a free demo now .
Basically the company puts a fake rate per in their website codeyoung.com and all like around 28USD to 30USD.
But later a business development agent or senior academic Counselor who are all sitting in one or two floor above and below tells the parent current Christmas or Ugadi, Dusshera or Diwaali or weekend discount or Halloween or special discount etc is going on so you can enroll in the demo session and get a chance of 40 to 50 percent of discount the website price somewhere around 10 to 12 USD.
But in reality the course is around 8USD only but if you join as an inside sales representative you will have to sell them above 10USD. Else you won't get incentive nor no promotion.
The manager screw you. They yell at you.
Later they run advertisement in Instagram, Facebook and all....some data are purchased from travelling agencies who store them for flight tickets etc.
You call the parent if you from cold calling department that OLG inside sales representative (1)
Later somehow force them to book a demo.
Then another guy sitting next to them telling that he is a Senior Academic Counselor (2) (basically he is also an inside sales representative) calls the same parent and tell that hello....you had shown interest in such and such course and try to make fool out of the parent. Try to sell them the course.
But you cannot make fool out the intelligent parent from IT, and white collar job and all because they know how the company works.
Please don't ignore my words and join the company because you will suffer like how I did. This job is not for everyone.
Even at the end at the time of serving the notice period even if you are unable to meet the target of 10,00,000INR + usually you don't get a relieving letter and you cannot show a experience in your resume.
Don't waste your time by joining this horrible designed company by the IITians. They want you to be the slave with them.
Only 1 or 2 in 10 can survive remaining leaves the job because of the pressure.
Even if you show your arrogance and join you will have to come to this comment and read it again because these were the suffering shared by a real employee who worked there observed and even fell into a trap thinking I'm a smart guy and later sitting here typing because I suffered. Left upto you.
