Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Process is not very professional. Recruitment team is clueless to basic questions on the role and the whole coordinating process was not good.

First round with the hiring manager who is the associate partner and my conversation went well. He warned that the role will be hectic and high pressure. Second round round was with the partner, who was really empathetic and knowledgeable.

I was told that the third round will be f2f a day prior with a partner from another vertical at 3:30. I took half day leave reached around 2:45 and was ready. The hr took me in at 3:15 to which the partner says I was late. I told him I’m not and I was in fact early to which he said no no it’s scheduled at 3. Anyway interview as such went okay.

The end result after 8 days when I followed up with the hr, I was told that 3rd round wasn’t positive. Extremely strange and no feedback was given.

Being from the big 4, this was really a pathetic experience in terms of the process and candidate experience.

Work Atmosphere- Their office was modern but the employees looked sad. As I found my way to the exit, I requested an employee to open the access gate. He said I’m not allowed to.

Totally understandable that 100s get interviewed and are not selected. But for the effort the candidate puts in a basic regret or a one line simple feedback (role/skill mismatch,etc) should be practiced.

Experience: The details of the round are not generally revealed. You get a call post selection of your resume.
Tips: Resume should always be up to date and not more than one or one and half page. Always include a covering letter.

Round: Group Activity
Experience: Amongst a group of 5-10 people, a group activity is carried out.
Tips: Be vocal. Be up to date with the current affairs. Keep reading stuff in and around.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR will walk in through your resume in details. And would ask question on your background and skills required for the job.
Tips: Be very clear and thorough with your cv and about everything that you have mentioned there.
