Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: One general aptitude test: questions on logic and language. Easy-moderate difficulty level but a little long. Selected candidates went on to a technical cum HR interview.

Round: HR Interview
Tips: 1) Be truthful throughout the interview.
2) Don't worry too much.They like VJTIans. (In fact, there's a fair chance that the interviewer himself is one).

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Most candidates were quizzed on 2 or 3 subjects of their own choice (from any semester). I was quizzed on Fluid Mechanics and I found the questions easy.

Round: Test
Experience: consists of mostly technical questions and a few verbal & analytical ability Qs. this test is easy and generally everyone cracks it.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: it starts with giving personal introduction and then a few basic technical questions related to concrete, its properties. engineering materials, tests performed on materials...prepare a nice personal introduction telling about ur school. college, family, hobbies, likes, dislikes etc...and most importantly be honest..
Tips: no hints as such...
only thing is they wud constantly bombard u with Qs like
are u ready to do site work?
We have a major project going on in (some place), wud u like to work on it?
....u must be willing to go anywhere in india!!!
actually, i didnt join L&T....
But, if u r willing to travel anywhere and ready to work from 8 to 8, then L&T is a good company where u wud get a load of experience.
