Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: I explained about my school.my +1&2 colleges.and about my family background.
My strengths and weaknesses. The subjects i like and my hobbies.

I wrote addtion of two numbers. He was surprised to see the small program. he asked even a person who just started programming can write that program.i replied the same.it is the first program which i executed with out any errors. So i like that program.

He asked about my project and explain it with an live example.my project deals about mobile routing.so i took him and his mobile as example and explained the while project.he was pretty impressed here.

Tips: They do care about my education details strength and weaknesses.. family details are unnecessary.

Second question.. i try to make it as simple as possible. I some how made interviewer not to think too much.

After seeing my program he didnt had much to complicate it so he asked few oops questions . I was very strong in it so answered easily.

The interviewer impressed when i gave an live example and explained the whole project.he asked me to proceed to hr round.

We need to show how clear we are in respective topics or project. So giving a live example really helps.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Explained about my self.

As i stayed in hostel during my engineering days Relocation isnt a problem. I can go anywhere and stay

As per company norms what ever is suitable
Tips: Dont be too messy while you are answering.be clear

7 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: This was the first round eligible branches were civil mechanical and chemical engg. This was simple round where we people at NIT warangal should atleast have Cgpa till the end of second year to be greater than 8.0 at the scale of 10.78 ppl among 200 applicants got shortlisted.I was one among them.
Tips: maintain your cgpa >8 and good percentage at +2 level for NIT'ians.

Round: Test
Experience: there were 12 questions from aptitude section surprisingly there were 2 reasoning sections containing 36 questions in one section and 30 questions in another section and last section which is an important one Technical section contained 40 questions. These questions were so designed that it will definitely test your speed and level of thinking.
Tips: the only suggestion I would like to give is don't panic and keep your mind calm while answering these questions because if your mind is tension free you get fresh ideas this suggestion according to me is going to work on many freshers.
Duration: 1 hour 35 minutes
Total Questions: 118

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: 30 ppl got selected these round among 78 from the online test we were divided into 4 groups. In my group, there were 7 ppl and the topic was case study we were given clues like puzzle and we all have to solve and arrive at summarizing the given huddle within 60 mins.As soon as I got my clues the started the GD with my ideas then after 3 mins others also gave their ideas I also got many new ideas by listening to others view and at last I summarized based on all the opinions and got conclusion.
Tips: remember always give others chance to speak out, never arrive at arguments and always listen to others opinion because it opens up our mind to perceptional ideas and last but not least try to summarise in easy language.
Duration: 20 minutes

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Basically my interview was mostly HR based because when I entered the interview panel without any hesitation I pointed out that my technical part is little bit weak and I am targeting at the position of managing director for which we don't require technical knowledge actually interviewer was very much influenced by this answer and then asked me various questions mentioned above.
Tips: the main point to be focused here is any interviewer keeps an eye on your confidence level, softness in your communication, attitude, adaptability, frankness, spontaneity and also the way you listen to him do remember your postures and gesture also matter a lot positive attitude should always be maintained in any circumstance.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The test consisted of 60 aptitude questions. They were divided into numerical, logical reasoning and English. Each of them having 20 questions.Basically those questions were easy to solve. You have to have enough practice to solve those in the required amount of time.I was able to solve 50 of them and since it had no negative marking I guessed the remaining.Overall the first round of test was not that tough!
The technical round was conducted immediately after the aptitude. It had 20 questions ranging from digital electronics, basics of CMOS and few network analysis problems.Overall it was not that hard.If you are good at the basics you can easily solve most of the questions.I was able to solve more than 15 questions. And of course no negative marking here too.overall it was a good experience.
Tips: 1.In first round numerical aptitude takes time to solve. So better solve them at last.
2.Technical test has more than enough time,so accuracy is the key here.
Duration: 60+45 minutes
Total Questions: 60+20

Tips: Just be confident and try to take your own time while explaining.
