Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There are 35 aptitude questions and 15 technical questions. For these 50 questions 60 minutes time is provided to answer. The questions are either too simple that you can answer in seconds or very tough that it takes around 2 minutes. The questions are in such a way that few questions you can answer just with the help of options. One example is (1/2)^15+(2/3)^17+....+(4/2)^17=? The options are a. (1/2)^20 b. (2/3)^20 c. (3/4)^20 d. (4/3)^20. I done the question and the options exactly but if u see the question, u can understand that the answer is definitely more than 1 as there is (4/2)^17 and u can observe that there is only one option in that way.
Tips: The aptitude questions are very simple and if you just have a brief idea of basic mathematical concepts, you can solve almost all the questions. Regarding the technical questions, if you work on test your C skills, it is more than enough. of course to get through any aptitude paper R is enough and for technical paper test your c, c++ skills are enough.
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Few questions are asked on DBMS (Normalization and keys concepts), basics of software engineering, few operating
systems questions like basic operations of operating systems, kernel programming basics, hardware structure of CPU and its interaction in some specified cases.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Very very common questions like tell me about yourself, your opinion about higher studies and academic subjects, your family background, your role in activities of the Institute etc... Just answer them frankly all your opinions. I answered them that i don't like to study subjects like compilers, TOC, programming languages concepts etc.. and those subjects are not at all practical.... They are impressed with my straight forward Answers.
