Interview Questions
- Q1. All questions were technical in nature, although interviewer's questions were focused on trainings and projects which we had undertaken in college time
- Q2. In HR round, basic questions were asked like introduce yourself and then he asked further from my statements

4 Interview Rounds
Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Manufacturing sector in India is ailing (India needs alignment in Manufacturing Sector). We had a healthy discussion.
Duration: 10 minutes
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Interviewer was much more focused than I was. He asked me, what is your favorite subject? I listed 3-4 subjects but sensing his eagerness to ask questions, I stepped and added on which project I am currently working. He took few seconds to understand my project and then asked all the questions related to my project only. Things went on smooth after that because ball was in my court. With 5-6 questions like scope of project in real situation and where this system is currently being used (answer was - in their own company) and some water flow pressure directions in solids, he left me.
Tips: Key for Technical Interview is at least prepare your one subject so strong that it can give you a chance to survive interviews. Be calm and composed, don't hurry up the things, try to drive the interview in your zone only (play on your strengths).
Round: HR Interview
Experience: Interviewer was more obsessed to his brand new IPhone and implicating agreements in very unusual manner. He asked me to introduce myself, interfered me in between and asked another question regarding my views on India-Pakistan Relationship, I tried to be brief as much as possible, trying to cover every aspect in relationship both positive and negative part. He stopped me in between and said thanks! Of course I was not expecting a very very short HR interview but it happened. And that is what whole process is, a chain of unexpected events.
Tips: Key for HR Interview is try to improve your communication skills, it matters and in the end a lot. Do more activities and make yourself much more than 1 page resume. Make a character for yourself and try to stick to it.

Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Test
Experience: This round consisted of simple general Aptitude questions. Having a look at previous year question papers would help.
Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 45
Round: Group Discussion
Experience: We were given 2 minutes to think of the points for the topic. There were 10 members in my group. There were 2 panel members.
Tips: They were only checking the confidence of the person to speak and also his communication skills. The content had lesser significance.
Duration: 15 minutes
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The interview started with the panel asking me to introduce myself. They were more interested in knowing my level of seriousness in my trainings and projects.
As I did my training at HINDALCO, almost my entire interview revolved around aluminium extraction and the specific processess and techniques used there. The interview lasted for around 6-7 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria for Final Placement Process 2016 Batch:
1. 60% throughout in X, XII and Graduation
2. Should have cleared all subjects in X and XII in First attempt.
3. Maximum two years gap allowed between XII and Graduation, No other gap in regular course of studies.
4. Should not have any standing backlog on the date of campus selection and at the time of joining.
