Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Prepare well in advance about Options contract and futures contract. Financial greeks.
If you are not able to answer their question properly they'll provide you some situations and conditions to explain your answers.
Tips: Based on the job profile learn atleast the basics of finance

Round: Test
Experience: They have their own specialized aptitude test on their own platform.
Quant, DI, Verbal and Logical was average level not too difficult but important is Finance section they too focus mainly on this section prepare well especially Ratios and basic finance numericals
Essay writing- they give some specific words, you have to use those in your essay. think before what you write because backspace/del button won't work while writing.
Tips: Prepare for Finance section
Duration: 1 hour

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Read your resume well they can ask anything from it(I got mixed up with the names of my two college fests which I only organized), same goes for your previous interns as well. I didn't had any finance related intern so he asked me if you are so intersted in financial sector why didn't you did an intern in it. Had to come with up some story then there itself, all in all need to convince them that you are very much suitable for the role.
As they already took 2 technical interviews via telephonic and aptitude test and also I was top in their priority list based on those they didn't asked me much technical questions in this round barring 2-3 questions that too was more of knowledge based. I didn't knew the answer told him directly that i don't know.
Thought I screwed my interview as it went for like max. 15-20 mins while other's went for more than half an hour and they did ask them some good technical questions.
All in all I guess my previous first telephonic round helped me majorly in overall selection.
Tips: This round was more of conversation based. Try to talk/converse with them. I prepared for in-detail technical questions but all in vain. Neither did they asked any detailed tech questions nor hard core HR questions. Major emphasis was on how well you connect with that person and show your sincerity.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Aptitude : The questions were really simple. A student preparing for CAT will not find it difficult to solve almost all the questions. Preparation from any of the CAT material would be sufficient.
Technical : Almost every question were from communication part. There was also one question from fiber optics
Duration: 30 minutes
Total Questions: 25

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: It was done in a group of 6. Make sure you raise some good points. Even if you can raise a single good point that would be sufficient.
Tips: Participate in mock gd with your friends. Practice helps a lot in this

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: The interview was HR+Technical one. The interview started off with the usual one "tell me about yourself?" and then I was asked about my internship. Having an internship in microwave or communication related field will be greatly useful. They specifically asked about the telecom field, including what all happens while making a phone call, the difference between 3g and 4g etc. It is good to have an overall technical overview of the telecom industry than having indepth knowledge of other fields in this interview because they are interested in testing your knowledge in telecom industry only.
The HR will ask a few questions about your higher studies, why airtel and stuff.
Tips: Be prepared for the HR questions. Even though the questions are almost same for all interviews the answers should be ready. It shows your seriousness and interest.

Skill Tips: Having a balanced technical and managerial profile is the one that they are looking for
Skills: Ability To Work In A Team, Leadership Skills, Telecommunication Knowledge

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: It was an easy test with basic DI and LR questions. There were around 18 questions to be done in 20 minutes.
Calculator is allowed so speed was not be a problem.
Tips: A great presence of mind and accuracy is needed. Try some CAT style DI/LR questions.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: Initially, the interviewer asked me a general question of what factors should be kept in mind while renting a new place near the office as well as if it is away from the office. Then the case study data was given, and various profit and loss questions were asked with some tricky conditions.
Tips: Maintaining one's cool and calm is a must. Try to solve the questions fast, but it is always better to give a late answer than a wrong answer.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: Some general financial knowledge was tested, as in what are the possible sources of income of commercial banks. Then the ATM case study was given, in which I had to ascertain the places in which setting up an ATM will be profitable. I was also asked to draw graphs for the profit/loss equations, and had to interpret some data from it too.
Tips: Strong mathematical skills and basic knowledge of economics will come in handy in such interviews.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: This was the final case study, and was similar to the previous ones, with a bit more tricky cases. Some HR questions were asked:
Why Capital One?
Why analytics?

And similar ones.

Experience: there were 20 MCQ which were on ds , networks and basic coding followed by 2 coding questions.
1) print all the distinct substrings of a given string in lexicographical order
2) find the max i-j value in the given array of 0's and 1's such that there are equal number of zeros and ones, where i is the starting index and j is the ending index of the array.

2) told him the approach and coded it.
Tips: look at corner cases properly. the interviewers were friendly, so i felt relaxed.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: 1) i told him a recursive O(2^n) solution, optimised it to O(n^2). he told me to optimise further. Then i finally came up with O(n) solution after 5 min and he was satisfied . i coded it. he was satisfied finally :D .
2) came up with the approach immediately and coded it. he was satisfied.
Tips: he was very particular about corner cases and he checked the code througly tested it on some cases to ensure it was working.

General Tips: be cool. interviewers were friendly. tell them what you are thinking and be clear with the question before answering to avoid wasteage of time.
Skill Tips: solve problems from codechef, spoj and codeforces. solve interview questions from geeksforgeeks and careercup.
Skills: the way you think, coding skills and knowledge on data structures.
Duration: 3
College Name: IIT Roorkee
Motivation: some good seniors got intern, so i was inspired.
Funny Moments: on the interview day a person came into the conference room to call me for interview, i didnt thought he was interviewer. he was very simple, but intelligent and at last i felt like asking him to ask me one more coding question as it was fun solving questions infront of him, but i didnt do that as i was frightened if i would not be able to answer it would be a negative remark :P .
