Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The questions were on programming(C, C++, Java), operating system, networks and quantitative aptitude. Few question were also on company's area of work (eg.cloud computing). String matching and string sequence matching( lot of questions on string).
Tips: One question that cornered me what is the macro of typedef.Do have a look at the company's webpage. There might be questions on the recent developments and products.

Round: Interview
Experience: A programming and algorithm test-Inform them on how you are approaching a solution even if you aren't sure.
Tips: A sincere effort is always appreciated.

Round: Interview
Experience: The questions come from operating system and algorithm.They may ask you to explain your projects and internships.Similiar to the earlier technical interview

Round: Interview
Experience: The answers tend to highlight your personality.The most frequent question : Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Tips: -Looking into some standard HR questions helps.
-Convince them that you are serious about your recruitment into the company.
-Open mindedness and good sportsmanship is always appreciated.
-Avoid telling the company about any research plans, if any.

General Tips: They will certainly ask you about your project, both in technical phase and the HR round.Revise what you did. Show them that you will be an asset to their organization and that you are keen to learn from them.
CSE - Reading cormen for preparation helps (net question, examples and puzzles). For those who have to face Quant - Speed is essential
Skill Tips: Be as much interactive as you can through out the interview and be yourself
