In aptitude, there were 7 sections. They had sectional cut-off of 60%-65% with no negative marking.
75 questions in 50 mins.

a. Quantitative:Prepare topics like time and work,pipes cisterns,profit and loss,trains,speed time distance,mixtures etc. Prepare these topics from Indiabix well. Chances are there you may get same questions.(11 questions)
b. Verbal Reasoning: Prepare series,set theory,blood relations,seating arrangements,age etc(20 questions)
c. Non Verbal Reasoning: Finding odd one out from set of diagrams etc(5 questions)
d.e. General English-1&2: Synonyms,Antonyms, Fill in the blanks,Prepositions, Syllogism,Para jumbles,Spellings(35 questions)
f. Reading Comprehension:(2 questions)
Interview Tips
Your result will be displayed as soon as you complete the test. You will be having link for next section i.e.Story Writing. Once you clear the test, trust me you are 80% placed.
My advice to you is that focus on English. If you clear aptitude, you are almost selected. It is a good opportunity to grab. Beware of sectional cut-off, especially sections having less questions. Refer Indiabix for aptitude,synonyms,antonyms and Wren & Martin for English.
Round 2

Story Writing

Story writing: You will be having an image and you are supposed to write a story within 15 mins and it should of 1000 characters I guess. To clear this round, I would suggest you to visit http://www.onlinecorrection.com/ . Just think of anything and start typing. Get it corrected by someone. Incorrect spellings will be underlined with red. That will boost up your confidence. The result will be announced by HR personnel.

Technical Interview

First, I was asked my introduction. I was asked to write a C program on reversing a string, a SQL query to perform joins. Some questions on my project. Since I belonged to CSE branch, I was asked these questions.

Interview Tips
Pay attention during pre-placement talk. Keep calm and be confident. Practice programs. Prepare your projects well.

The number of questions are way too much to be solved in the given time. I dont exactly remember the number, but it was brain exhausting. Some are very doable and some need a alert mind. The result is immediately displayed after the test is over.

Only 18 people could qualify the aptitude test.
Interview Tips
Try completing all the questions since there is no negative marking and you have the probability of scoring more.
They dont have a total cut off, rather Tech-M has sectional cut off system, so in each section you got to be doing well.
One has to be very attentive to all the questions and answer to the best of your ability. Also time managment needs to be taken care of inorder to complete the test.
Round 2

Essay Round

Interview Experience
After the aptitude test is qualified , you immediately receive greetings on screen and you are asked to step forward for the next round. In this a topic is given on the spot and you are expected to write an essay within 10 minutes in not more than 1200 words.
Out of 18, 15 students got selected after this essay round.
Interview Tips
One needs to be a creative thinker and that too a fast one, you ought to decide the starting of the essay, its main body and the concluding phrase. start writing fast on a sharp and attentive mind. Try not to commit spelling mistakes since the essay is also software checked.
Round 3

Technical Interview

  • Question 2: Did you do any projects in your engineering tenure and what were their purposes?
  • Question 3: How can the project be modified?
  • Question 4: Explain the LED logic?
  • Question 5: Are you flexible with the location and job timings?

  • Question 7: Are there any limitations for a sector that we would be alloting to you?
Interview Experience
They always have a question ready as soon as you are done with answering the previous one. I njoyed it and realised that i was actually good at technical knowledge which i thought the other way.
The interview was most about the second year project (may be they had a pre=knowledge about it), they put up certain condition and ask you to deliver the necessary modifications required in your project to satisfy the condition.
Out of 15, 4 got eliminated in the technical round.
Interview Tips
U need to be confident and contended. you cannot hit around the bush, if you dont know any answer say it straight. go prepared with your project knowledge in and out... concepts that follow it, its modification possibilities, purpose of choosing it, etc.

HR Interview

Interview Experience
The HR interview is supposed to be casual interview, but nothing is easy when its TECH-M. They asked any question out of blue. I still njoyed itfor i knew i spoke what i felt and we debated and discussed on certain topics. I took it more as a discussion about revealing my thoughts rather than as an interview, but in a formal sense.
Interview Tips
You be smart and intellegent at the approximate answers that you will be delivering. U must not make self contradictory statements, stick to what you believ and speak the same. Confidence is a vital point again!

Funny Moments
the qs in the HR intrview that occured was that the interviewer said he was good in physics learnt and spent a lot of time in his 11th and 12th while learning it but now he does not remember any of it. So according to him it was waste if you learn something and dont remember later.<br />
whereas my take was that, when you try to understand and learn a thing you use your brain, so there is certain kind of transformations in the brain in a progressive manner. so even if we forget the learnt part, the brain is trained in someway. like when we do maths, we might not remember formulas or theory but the brain is trained to manipulate in some way.<br />

this debate went for quite a while in a comic way, since the interviewer said he found it amusing the way i said it transforms and all :)

The test started with the verbal ability - reading and comprehension. Especially for Tech M you will have to improve your verbal skills as they strongly emphasize on them.
Logical reasoning section is a little bit easy or you can say that as for me I found it rather easy to handle. Mainly questions were on data interpretation and cubes and relations and ages.
Moving on to the third and last section that comprises of quant is simple. Most of the questions were direct and had 2-3 line solutions. Just improve your basic fundamentals.
Interview Tips
Refer India bix and at least start reading something to improve your vocabulary. Even practicing each section from this site is quite enough.

The window given was of only 10 minutes and I was hardly able to write 10-12 lines.

Guys main aim is to check your sentence making ability and how well you have understood the topic. Whatever you write make sure its well read, grammatically correct and in context with the topic given.

Technical interview was a little bit tough. Mainly, the interviewer asked me to explain my project and questions on my field of interest.
