I was interviewed on-campus at NIT Warangal for SRF
Test Technical Interview HR Interview
- Section 1: Written Test
The questions asked were very simple. If one has a sufficeint level of practise in solving the CAT preparation books of various coaching centers like TIME, IMS etc. the aptitude paper would be nothing else other than cake walk and I mean it and joking. It is advice to my junoirs that solve thse questions and you will be at ease for any aptitude for any company .
The questions asked were very simple ranging from pure basic to those of some applications. The fact that I have a very exposure to modelling and simulation , and also a lot of designing during my internship at a design company has helped a lot.The Chemical Engineering Department of NIT Warangal is the only college in the country to have introduced the simulation software to undergraduate students. So make use of it right from the third year instead of waiting for the final year when there is a dedicated course. This would help you a lot, see for it yourself instead of believeing me.Also have some amount of experience in designing.
- Question 1: Do you have any locational constraints?
- Question 2: If you have any questions about the organisation ask them right now as we wont be able to talk to you later on as we would leave as soon as the interview ends?
Practise for the general aptitude and techniccal properly.Develop your attitude in such a way that you should be looking interested in engineering. Remember that the present attitude among the juniors is that you are very confident of getting jobs but remember that the sitiuation could completely different from what you expect it to be.Keep in mind that getting into NIT Warangal is just a milestone in your career and not the biggest accomplishment of your life. So, study hard and you will be in a far better position that what you expect to be now.Remember that success is only relative. The more you gain it, you should strive for still better.
