Prepare the answers for the common HR questions like tell me about your self, why do you wanna join this company,  etc
Try to answer all questions confidently without pause or break. Do not get tensed. Make sure that you maintain eye contact with the panel. From my experience most of the companies very seriously go through your bio data. So make sure you include only that is necessary and sufficient or else it might turn up to be a disadvantage.

I was interviewed on-campus at SRCOEM Nagpur for System engineer role at Infosys
Interview Process
Test Technical Interview
Round 1

Test

Interview Experience
Aptitude test conducted by Infosys is easy. Being an engineer, one can easily get the answers for time-speed-distance, interesting puzzles, pattern-type questions. Just a basic revision and practice would refresh the mind before the test.
Interview Tips
If it's a pool campus, and you really want to join the company, do practice calculations and concepts for aptitude questions.
Round 2

Technical Interview

Interview Experience
Mine interview was a blend of technical and HR. Honestly, the panel didn't ask me questions directly related to what I studied during engineering. He asked me a about my co-curricular activities and few questions about my internship. Maybe the panel was too bored interviewing other candidates (I don't know why), so they asked what phone I use. When I answered that I use Android, we had  'Android versus iOS' discussion (read debate). We discussed about issues like UI/UX, apps, security etc. on these platforms. This might have refreshed the interviewer, as he then wrapped-up quickly.
General Tips
Candidate may refer to a couple of websites to practice online tests. I would encourage candidates to do so as it helps gaining confidence, testing calculation skills and gives idea about time management.

Test HR Interview
Round 1

Test

Duration
70 Minutes
Test Sections
  • Section 1: Quantitative
  • Section 2: Reasoning / Analytical
  • Section 3: Verbal
Interview Experience
Quant + Critical ReasoningIt was very light, a person who is preparing for CAT will excel here. But even a normal candidate can make it easily.I didn't prepare for CAT but it was probably my best aptitude ever. Verbal Section:Verbal is also light (no need of any special preparation), many questions are based on selecting correct sentenceout of wrong ones, some where like two-three sentences will be given with some information and you shouldchoose the appropriate statement from among the options that is incurred from both the statements, 2 comprehensions.
Interview Tips
Quant is very easy, there might be some tricky time taking questions so don't waste your time in solving that try solving next. RS Agarwal is a good book to prepare. Comprehensions are at the start of the verbal section so please don't waste your time in comprehension passage, try to do other questions first as they are very easy.
Round 2

HR Interview

Interview Experience
In Infosys normally, the interview panel members are old experienced professionals. My interview wentreally good, he first asked me about myself, about my future plans, then he asked me about my interests, my C.G.P.A, followed by how I prepared for exams. Then he asked me if I have been in any Co-ordination committee, After that he gave me a situation and then asked me what I would do in that situation. Totally it was light.
Interview Tips
Never be so nervous, as it will affect your performance. In the interview basically they will check for your communication skills, your management skills, your leadership qualities, your ability to work in a group. In the interview never panic, keep cool, try to keep good eyecontact with the interviewer.
