Participate in mock gd with your friends. Practice helps a lot in this
Round 3

Technical Interview

Interview Experience
The interview was HR+Technical one. The interview started off with the usual one "tell me about yourself?" and then I was asked about my internship. Having an internship in microwave or communication related field will be greatly useful. They specifically asked about the telecom field, including what all happens while making a phone call, the difference between 3g and 4g etc. It is good to have an overall technical overview of the telecom industry than having indepth knowledge of other fields in this interview because they are interested in testing your knowledge in telecom industry only.
The HR will ask a few questions about your higher studies, why airtel and stuff.
Interview Tips
Be prepared for the HR questions. Even though the questions are almost same for all interviews the answers should be ready. It shows your seriousness and interest.

Test Technical Interview
Round 1

Test

Interview Experience
The aptitude test is of 20 minutes. The quantitative is of 15 minutes and the verbal English is of 20 minutes. The verbal English exam consists of around 25 questions. Also passages will be 2 in number with around 5 questions each. Sentence joining and grammar based questions are also there. Also find the wrong option question will be there. Apart from this quantitative test is also there, which will include questions from mathematics. After all this an Aptitude test will be there to check the general aptitude of a person. The time allotted for the written test is very less, so one has to be fast in answering the questions.
Round 2

Technical Interview

Interview Experience
If you have cleared the written test, the next round is the personal interview round in which they ask some technical questions .They can also talk about the training which one has received and of course the final year projects. The last round is the HR round, in which one has to answer why he/she likes airtel .One will have to describe oneself, academic backgrounds, hobbies and other creative activities.Although the written test is not exhaustive, but still one needs to refer to basic books like R.S. Agarwal for clearing the written exams. Also good coaching institutes like TIME and Professional tutorials can help in the preparation of written test. One needs to devote long hours for the preparation to these written tests.
Interview Tips
After completing the written test, one has to be very sure about the type of questions that will be asked in the HR Round. Candidates must be well prepared for the type of probable questions that will be asked by the judging panel. Most of the questions will be centered on role models, strengths and weaknesses and personality based questions. One has to fully evaluate one self as to where the person stands. Also due respect should be given to the judging panel. One should try not to mislead or misinform the panel. The panel is well informed on most of the issues and hiding or concealing facts will only lead to the disqualification of the potential candidate at any stage of the selection process.Industrial training is very important. Before going for interview brush up the industrial training and projects done by you.

HR Interview

General Tips
Unlike most other people in college, I kept all options open. I learnt decent level of coding, I learnt about case-studies. Only thing I did not do and I think I should have done is practice of aptitude. I managed to get shortlisted in most of companies but still I feel preparing for aptitude quants would have definitely helped. I gave CAT, probably because everyone was giving, but did not really prepare. Preparing for CAT is actually a good idea, not because MBA is good, but because it will help you in placements. Keep an open mind. Try out everything. So, here it is, tip : keep all options open if you don’t know which way to go. Be open minded
Funny Moments
I saw many people not learning coding thinking it to be tough without even giving it an actual try. Coding is one of the easiest and most interesting things to do. It is better than doing quants of profit-loss, percentages etc.! But obviously, it will be better if you do both.
