I was interviewed on-campus at NIT Warangal for Agilent Technologies
Test Interview Interview
- Section 1: Aptitude Test
1)In the aptitude the questions were very gud i mean we cant get them directly unless we put our pen the paper. U need think a bit before proceeding to solve the questions.Mostly the problems are based on number theories like sum to N terms,Arithmetic progressions like that.So its better to go through those formulae before going for the test 2)As far as the technical test is considered they offered for software profile so all the questions are on C and C++ with little Networking and OS questions too.These questions completely test ur knowledge in those languages on various terms.Like they asked some questions extern variables and pages in case OS like that.so better prepare for the basic things and then go for the test.
1)1st they asked me this question like "Describe urself in 2minutes".so u may expect these kind of HR questions at the beginning of the interview. 2)And then he went through my resume saw my projects and asked me talk about them. 3)Later he went through my semister subjects and asked me my favourite subjects. 4)And then some questions like r u ok to be working on software side even though ur from communications background. 5)after that he went into asking pure technical questions from micro controllers,computer organisation and operating systems and few programming questions. 6)Much stress was given to CAO were he asked me a question on pipelining,its advantages and disadvantages. 7)Like this it went on for some 50minutes. 8)after that he asked if i got any questions for him and i asked few like what are we going to be working on and any oppurtunities to go outside the country and work. 8)Its always better to keep the interview like its was a discussion between two people than like a question and answer session.
1)I was asked to tel about myself my family background. 2)N i was asked y i choose engineering than the other courses. 3)and then some questions like wat do u do when u have to take some really tough decisions in ur life and will be willing to leave ur family to work away and r u ok wid it and did u ever acted a team leader and wat do u tink are the things that have to be done as a team leader. 4)like this it went on for some 25mins 5)after that she asked me if i have any questions for her when i did asked 3 to 4 questions and it was over
1)Always try to explaind the questions boradly bringing in some techinical words.this way the interviewer will get interest in asking few more questions. 2)Its always better to keep the interview like its was a discussion between two people than like a question and answer session.
